The Breastfeeding Network
BfN
Registered Breastfeeding Supporters are
volunteers who have done extensive training, and
are also mothers who have breastfed their
babies. They are able to provide a unique
service that is complementary to that of health
visitors, midwives and other health
professionals. Breastfeeding Supporters are
available at the end of the phone to give
information and support to mothers who have
challenges with breastfeeding, and will visit
new mothers at home where possible.
